What date and time is the wedding?
Our wedding is on August 8th. Guests are asked to arrive at 3:00 PM in order to awkwardly mingle with other guests they don’t know, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:33 PM (That’s NOT a typo).
Where will the wedding take place?
The ceremony and reception will be held at the 425 Event Center, located in the heart of downtown Springfield, and conveniently within walking distance from Jana & Nick’s dwellings. Gas prices… #amiright #convenience #weonabudget?
What are the wedding colors?
Our wedding theme colors are dark blue, gray, white, and champagne. Also… feathers. No fowl were harmed in the making of this celebration (we hope).
Is there a dress code for the wedding?
We suggest semi-formal attire. Feel free to incorporate our wedding colors into your outfit if you wish! Scratch that. Please incorporate our wedding palette into your wardrobe. It would make us so happy!
Will parking be available at the venue?
Yes, there is parking available at the venue. We recommend arriving a bit early to find a spot to park, or Ubering, or jetpack. Jetpacks are fun – that’s the rumor, hennyways.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Please refer to your individual invitation to see if a plus-one is included. Due to the venue capacity (which is ginormous), we have tailored each invitation accordingly. Also, we’re on a budget. Have you SEEN the price of groceries recently? Yikes!
Are children welcome at the wedding?
If you’ve met Nick, then you’d know he IS a child! YES! Your children are invited – we have a bunch of fun activities for them so mom & dad can relax and enjoy the festivities! Unattended children, however, will be given shots of espresso and a puppy to take home.
Will there be food and drinks served?
Absolutely! Refreshing drinks will be available from 3:00 PM, and we’ll have a variety of delicious food options during the dinner. Beer, wine, and champagne are on us as well as the grub! And hey! Are there any hotels nearby for out-of-town guests?
Yes, there are several hotels within a short walking distance of the venue. We will provide a list of recommendations here. Or, you can be a man and google it. The choice is yours. #beaman #dotherightthing
How can I RSVP?
Please RSVP by June 2nd, 2024 using the instructions on your invitation, or you can RSVP here. Please, do NOT RSVP by texting Jana or Nick. They have limited brain bandwidth as it is.
What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?
Please inform us of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs….even though the menu is already set… and it’s oUr sPeCiAl DaY. It’s fine! Make it about you…. whatever.
Is the venue accessible for guests with disabilities?
Yes, the 425 Event Center is fully accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs (like Gam Gam Moreno), please let us know in advance… Even though it’s OUR special day…. It’s fine. IT’S FIINNNEE!!!
Can I take photos during the celebration?
Absolutely! All we ask is for you to hold off taking pics during the actual ceremony. We have a photographer for that… And possibly, a Mel (AKA Pops).
Will there be dancing at the reception?
Yes, there will be dancing! We hope you’ll join us on the dance floor to celebrate. Macarena, anyone!? Hows about a TikTok Challenge (please no)? #chacharealsmooth
